Dance Classes

Dance is an expressive movement, a medium through which we are able to use our body as a medium for communication. Through various dance forms, we are able to put across different messages, ideas and emotions.

Here at Fine Momentum, we offer dance classes in Singapore for all ages across several different genres of dance. Junior Dance

We offer dance courses for children ages 3 to 5. Our junior dance program is specially crafted to include both Classical Ballet and Jazz dance techniques. This will allow a smooth transition into our senior dance program where students are given a choice to select the genres they prefer.

Pre-Level 1: (Ages > 3 ) – 60mins

Pre-Level 2: (Ages > 4 ) – 60mins

“From age of 5, children can have the options of the following genres in our program. With a good foundation built from our Junior Dance program, your children are now ready to explore genres of their choice.

Fine momentum instructor beatrice

Beatrice Boey | Ballet Teacher, Fitness Instructor

Beatrice started dancing at the age of 5 and has over 14 years of teaching experience. She has completed her dance training under the Imperial Society of Teaching and Dancing (ISTD) with a Level 4 Diploma in Vocational Graded Examination for Advanced 2 Imperial Classical Ballet and Advanced 1 Modern Theatre.

She has experience teaching both ISTD and RAD ballet from Baby Ballet to Adult Ballet. Adopting a fitness aspect into her skills, she has also taught various Barre Fitness classes and cardio workouts at fitness studios. She has also choreographed performances for various school performances and company events. Beatrice has a huge love for dancing, and an even bigger love for sharing her passion of dance with her students!

Cheyenne | Dance Teacher

Cheyenne started dancing ballet at the age of 12 and she obtained Royal Academy of Dance Classical Grade 8 and Royal Academy of Dance Vocational Graded Advanced 1 after she graduate from secondary school. She also explores Chinese Dance and completed Beijing Dance Academy Chinese Dance Grading Examination level 4. In her years at NAFA, she majored in Contemporary dance and Ballet dance. She performed in NAFA’s major productions, working with choreographers such as Filomar Tariao (“Lain” and “Hamon”) and Gillian Tan (“Phantasmagoria of Dream” and “2;1”). She also choreographed 3 pieces titled “Dilemma” for her Creation 2A and “Copy Cat” and “Dilemma II” for her Creation 3A Module in NAFA.

In her years of teaching, she has sent students for competitions such as CSTD, Hong Kong Challenge Cup, Get The Beat, International Ballet Grand Prix and Star of Canaan Dance Online Ballet Competition 2021. She is grateful to be able to share her passion with the young learners.

Fine momentum dance instructor Kah Wen

Kah Wen | Dance Teacher

Kah Wen started dancing at 8 years old and while growing up, her parents supported her passion to pursue this. From Modern and Chinese dances in school CCAs, she also ventured deeply into Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz and Ballroom dances over the last decade. In recent years, she has trained and performed for many events as a member of Foreign Bodies School of Groove from Nanyang Polytechnic. With Hip Hop as a strong foundation in Kah Wen’s junior year of Foreign Bodies, she was exposed and managed to experience many other genres of street dances such as Waacking, Dancehall, Street Jazz, Popping and Locking, Girl’s Style and many more. Additionally, Kah Wen has always been a huge fan of Kpop songs, MV and idols and thus have inspired her greatly to perform dance covers. Kah Wen competed in competitions both locally and internationally, 2009 ‘wack it out’ in 2019. Kah Wen has also attained an ACTFA certificate of SFDF as well as level 3 waacking course.

Fine momentum instructor Tze Yen

Lim Tze Yen | Gymnastics coach

Lim Tze Yen, Gymnastics coach, has represented Sinapore in SEA games and has won Bronze for Individual Floor Exercise as well as silver in individual Vaulting in 1979 & 1981. He has obtained FIG Level 3 Coaching Brevet and Level 3 Internatinal Judging Brevet. Tze Yen was appointed as Chief Judge in SEA Games in 2007. 

He is a member of the Curriculum Development team to design the curriculum for the MOE-PAL gym curriculum, chaired by Mrs Carmee Lim (Chairman of Singapore Gymnastics). 

A caring, committed and compassionate coach, Tze Yen makes sure that the children enjoy exploring movement and gymnastics in a safe environment.
